What Faviview is

Faviview is a diagnostic tool that checks which site icons exist for a given URL. You provide a URL. Faviview fetches that page, reads its icon declarations, and requests each icon to report what the server returned. The service is provided as-is, for informational purposes only.

Acceptance of terms

By using Faviview, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the service. Because no legal entity has been registered, these terms are a statement of how the service operates rather than a formal contract under a specific governing law.

Use of the service

You agree to use Faviview only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. Specifically:

• You may submit any public website URL for icon checking.
• You may not use the service to probe or scan websites you do not own or have permission to test. Submitting a URL causes Faviview to fetch that page and its resources.
• You may not use the service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the infrastructure it runs on.
• Automated or bulk use of the service is not currently supported and may be rate-limited or blocked.

Disclaimer of warranties

Faviview is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator makes no representations or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the diagnostic results. Icon checking depends on network conditions, server responses, and the configuration of the target website — results may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Faviview shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the service.

No user accounts or data storage

Faviview does not require accounts, does not store check history, and does not retain the URLs you submit or the results of your checks beyond the duration of the request. No personal data is collected, processed, or stored. See the Privacy page for more detail.

Billing

Faviview offers two tiers:

• Free plan — $0 (always free, no payment required). All core icon-checking features are included with no limits. No account, no credit card, and no billing information is needed.
• Pro plan — Proposed at $9/month (pending human approval). The Pro plan is not yet available for purchase — features listed on the Pricing page are in development and no payment processor is connected.

Payment processing

No payment processor is currently connected to this service. Faviview cannot accept real payments today. The checkout flow on this site is a demonstration only — no payment information is transmitted, stored, or processed. When the Pro plan becomes available for purchase, this section will be updated with the actual billing details, payment processor name, billing period, and accepted payment methods.

When billing is active (future)

The following terms will apply once a payment processor is connected and the Pro plan is purchasable:

• Billing period: Monthly subscriptions, billed on the day of sign-up each month. Annual billing at a discounted rate may be offered.
• Payment method: Credit or debit card processed through a third-party payment processor (Stripe or equivalent). Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
• Failed payments: If a charge fails, Faviview will retry the payment after 3 days and again after 7 days. If payment has not succeeded after 14 days, access to paid features will be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid. After 30 days of non-payment, the subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to Free plan access.
• Refund policy: If you are unsatisfied with the Pro plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds for subsequent billing periods are provided only if a recurring billing error occurred on our side. Refund requests are handled manually and will be processed within 14 days of approval.
• Trial: When the Pro plan launches, a trial period of at least 7 days will be offered, after which the first payment will be collected automatically.

No current revenue

As of August 26, 2026, no payment processor is operational. All features are free. No customer payment data is collected, stored, or transmitted. These billing terms will take effect when the Pro plan is formally launched with a connected payment processor.

Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

No governing jurisdiction or applicable law has been established, as no legal entity has been registered for this service. Any disputes will be resolved informally where possible. A governing law clause will be added when a legal operator is formally established.
